In the last 30 years, the Lettermen have proven themselves to be versatile with their talent. They have made over 50 records, nine certified gold. During the folk music heyday, Billboard ranked them as the seventh most popular folk group. When disco emerged the Lettermen incorporated the lights, costumes and Travolta-type moves into a five-minute tribute, and when New Wave entered the music scene the Lettermen integrated a bit of that style in with their own.
